Down The TBR Hole #6

Hi everyone!
I’m finally back and I’m so excited to write some new posts such as reviews and tags!
How are you all doing? Since I’ve been out of the bookish world for some months, do you have any news?

The “Down The TBR Hole”, a meme by Lia @ Lost In A Story and this is how it works:

– Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
– Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
– Read the synopses of the books
– Decide: keep it or should it go?

Words in Deep Blue by Cath Crowley

I recently got into the YA-contemporary-romance genre and I love it, so I’m going to give it a try (the main character also works in a bookstore so why not) and keep it!

27254131Full Circle: From doodles to discovery- 101 drawings to finish (Volume 1) by Katja Vartiainen

When I added this book I was really into doodling in fact this book has many sketches that offer an easy-approach starting point to get you drawing and allow you to just get on with it and nourish the creative flame flickering inside you. But I’m not really into doodling anymore so I’m going to let it go.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke

It deals with a murder in a bakery and I really like the title because I love chocolate chip cookies and misteries so I’m definetely going to keep it :D.

20640755 The Book Of Ivy by Amy Engel

This is a dystopic book that deals with the survivors of a nuclear war, but it doean’t really intrigue me both the plot and cover so I’m going to let it go.

I Wrote This For You by pleasefindthis, Iain S. Thomas and Jon Ellis (Photos)

Last but not least this poetry book with photos (I’m so excited for this combination even if a review said that they’re blurry and random, it also has only three reviews so I’m going to keep it.

How many books do you have on your TBR? Have you ever tried to get rid of some of them?

Thank you for reading,

I’ve been wanting to read “Words in Deep Blue” for WAY too long. Here’s hoping it’s a good read. 🙂

Words in Deep Blue has been on my TBR for so long. I am glad that you decided to keep it. YA contemporary is my favorite genre 🙂 I hope we both enjoy it when we get chance to read it.

I don’t know why two years ago I hated it, but now it’s the main genre I read. Hopefully we’ll be able to read them soon!

I’ve never seen or heard anything about these books, but now I’ll keep them on my radar. That’s a great thing about these kinds of tags, the random books you get to learn more about ^_^

Welcome back to book blogging! I hope you’re having fun!

Thank you! I agree, in fact I started this tag because I love reading it on other blogs!

I also have Words in Deep Blue on my TBR, but I don’t know when I can get to it. 🙁

Me too, this is like number 52 on my TBR and I usually read 30 books per year, so hopefully I can read it by the end of the year, but I doubt it 😀

I have literally 1000s of books on my TBR list on Goodreads. It’s a problem since I really can’t eliminate any! They all seem so good!!

I know but sometimes if you read some of the plots you find out that the book is not for you! Also cleansing my TBR makes me feel like I have my life under control 😀

I haven’t heard of any of these, but just hearing that the main character in Words in Deep Blue works at a bookstore makes me want to go check it out. (I probably will lol.)
I have too many books in my TBR, but my 2018 reading goal is to only read books on my TBR list. I’ve already broken it a few times 🙁

    1. Arvenig Reply

That’s a hard goal lol, sometimes I just see something pretty with an intriguing plot and I want to read it immediately!

      1. Noel Walker Reply

Yes! That’s actually why I have a ton of book series that I need to finish before I start another one lol. But then I’ll see this new, beautiful book with an interesting synopsis- and it all goes downhill from there.
